The 2015 Langoa Barton has a classy bouquet with cedar- and tobacco-infused black fruit along with a little sous- bois that emerges with time. The palate is medium-bodied, taut and crisp, with pliant tannins and plenty of graphite toward the finish that is endowed with fine density and satisfying length. The 2015 is excellent. Chateau Langoa Barton

Chateau Langoa-Barton is the sister property to Leoville Barton. Owned by the Barton family since 1821. The vineyards for Langoa are in a cooler terroir and therefore the wines are always classically styled, elegant, refined and gorgeous. These are wines to age and I’ve never been disappointed with this estate. The 25 hectare of vineyards contain 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 6% Cab Franc and a bit of Petit Verdot.

I’ve purchased different wines from Sedimentary a couple of times. They’ve got a great selection and really knowledgeable. I’m currently working my way through the SC Pannell wines that I bought which I’ve not had in years and really enjoying. Looking forward to my next visit.
