Fuligni

Fuligni Estate is a historic family‑owned winery in Montalcino, Tuscany, with roots tracing to the ancient Venetian Fuligni family who settled in the region in the early 20th century after generations in England and Maremma. The estate was formally founded in 1923 and has remained under family stewardship, today led by Maria Flora Fuligni alongside her nephew Roberto Guerrini Fuligni, with oenologist Paolo Vagaggini shaping the wines. Situated on the classic eastern slopes of Montalcino, the property covers roughly 100 hectares of land with about 14 hectares under vine, predominantly Sangiovese for Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino. Vineyards around Cottimelli benefit from high elevation, rocky soils and traditional exposure, and the estate balances respect for tradition with meticulous viticulture to produce terroir‑driven Brunello di Montalcino and related Tuscan wines.
