Medium to light red colour with purple tints. The bouquet is fragrant with red cherry, raspberry and strawberry nuances and just a hint of forest, sousbois and sap. It's very intense and focused on the mid-palate, fine and discreet but also powerful and very long, searing its flavour on the palate with great precision. Located in the cool-climate Macedon Ranges of Victoria, Bindi is a small, family-owned estate run by the Dhillon family on a 170-hectare property originally purchased in the 1950s as part of the Bundaleer grazing farm. The vineyard was established in 1988 by Bill and Michael Dhillon, with just seven hectares planted to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Under the stewardship of vigneron Michael Dhillon, Bindi has gained a reputation for producing refined, site-driven wines that emphasise balance, purity and minimal intervention, reflecting both the unique character of the vineyard and a deep commitment to sustainable farming and conservation of the surrounding bushland.
