♥ Burghound Sweet Spot Outstanding - Here too there is just enough wood to mention framing the cool and bright aromas of mineral reduction lemon confit and refreshing sea breeze nuances. There is excellent density, especially for the vintage, to the middle weight flavors that are rich and caressing while maintaining good verve that carries over to the clean, dry and youthfully austere finale. This could use more depth but the fine potential is evident. Lovely. 91-93 points Allen Meadows, Burghound

Two parcels in Chatains, 2 in Sechets and one each in Minot and Roncières – 3 hectares. A little more of this with wood elevage than in some previous vintages. Less aromatic volume but with a more direct and mineral first impression followed by a small floral component. There’s an extra structure – rigour even – here vs the villages. Supple, elegant, but mineral too. The finish all about the more stony and mineral flavours, slowly fading – almost contemplatively. Beautiful stuff….Bill Nanson, The Burgundy Report
