The bright, citrussy fruit of the Billaud-Simon Petit Chablis provides a charming and accessible entry point for the range. The texture is light and fresh, and the balance is thoroughly correct. The grapes are from 1.33ha on the plateau above Les Clos (lieu-dit Sur Les Clos, but can't be labelled as such). Two parcels from the flat land on the top of the hill above the grand crus of Les Clos and Valmur – totalling 1.33 hectares and assembled. Hmm – a fresh citrus invitation – lovely.
