A pure even lemon yellow. The bouquet has a class which the straight bottling cannot aspire to. I keep going back to it. To have this class while retaining the body of a fine Charmes is impressive. ❤ Burghound Sweet spot Outstanding - Once again there is plenty of smoky character suffusing the slightly cooler aromas of green apple, lemon rind, spice and a hint of exotic tea. There is excellent cut and solid mid-palate concentration to the markedly more mineral-driven flavors that possess an even sleeker mouthfeel, all wrapped in a chiseled, youthfully austere and impressively long finish that displays focused power.
