TASTING_NOTES_HEADING_BLACK

Hand-picked from a very old vineyard, cooled overnight, crushed, open-fermented, basket-pressed, matured in new and used French hogsheads for 20 months. You are greeted by a bouquet shrieking of its regional origin, the palate more calmly sending the same message. The tannin management is a feature of the medium to full-bodied weight of the wine, providing delivering structure in a civilised fashion. James Halliday
