A Bowen Estate cabernet sauvignon to put a smile on your face. In some ways it's effortless and easy-going - Claret-like - but it's all class through the finish. This is a good look for Bowen cabernet. Seamless, finely tannic, full of sweet redcurrant-like fruit and kissed by cedary, smoky, clovey oak. It's medium-weight and quite perfectly pitched. Bowen Estate

Established in 1972 by Doug and Joy Bowen, Bowen Estate is a family-owned winery located on the southern end of the renowned Coonawarra strip in South Australia. The estate vineyards are planted on the region’s prized Terra Rossa soils, with varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Chardonnay. Still run by the Bowen family, Doug continues to oversee the vineyards while daughter Emma leads the winemaking, crafting wines that highlight the classic structure, flavour and balance for which Coonawarra is internationally recognised.
