Deep-ish, bright red-purple colour with a deep cassis, mulberry and spice bouquet, background mint and dried herb notes. The wine is intense and bright on the tongue, fresh and bold with serious intensity of cabernet flavour, the fruit sweet on the mid-palate before a crescendo of firm cabernet (and malbec?) tannins firms and dries the long finish.
