TASTING_NOTES_HEADING_BLACK

The 2013 Barolo is a gorgeous wine from Trediberri. Succulent red cherry, rose petal, mint, spice and lavender are some of the many notes that blossom in this exquisite, highly expressive Barolo. The 2013 has a bit more depth and midpalate pliancy than the 2014 tasted alongside it, but a bit less persistence. Hints of sage, rose petal, anise and underbrush are woven into the exquisite, inviting finish. Antonio Galloni

Producer

Trediberri

Founded in 2007 in La Morra in Italy’s Langhe region, Trediberri is a young, family-run winery established by Nicola Oberto, his father Federico and their friend Vladimiro Rambaldi, with the name meaning “three from Berri”—the small hamlet where the estate is based. Starting with just five hectares dedicated to Barolo production, the winery has expanded to around 10 hectares across notable crus including Berri, Rocche dell’Annunziata and Torriglione. With a focus on organic farming, traditional techniques and a philosophy centred on balance and drinkability, Trediberri produces elegant, terroir-driven wines—particularly Barolo, Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto—that reflect both the heritage and evolving energy of the Langhe region.
