Light to medium yellow, bright and clear, the spicy bouquet shouts barrel fermentation—it's a complex, well- worked sauvignon blanc which nevertheless still tastes like sauvignon blanc in spite of the barrel-derived characters. Delicious wine, concentrated and intense, and very long on the finish. There's a deep juiciness in the core which delights. The oak has been cleverly matched to the fruit characters.
