Here too the wood treatment is all but invisible and does not interfere with the transparency of the ripe yet cool and ultra-pure nose of red pinot fruit where the mineral influence is quite prominent. There is also a distinct stoniness to the driving and energetic middle weight plus flavors that possess controlled power before culminating in an explosive, balanced and hugely long finish.
