A profoundly stylish, translucently bright and deeply perfumed pinot whose heady, floral bouquet of sweet red cherries, rose garden and raspberries reveals the musky character so typical of this site. ItÕs supple and gentle, with a long, smooth and charmingly sappy core of pristine fruit underpinned by a dusty, gentle spine, building in depth and structure towards its finish of exemplary balance and freshness. Domain Epis

Located near Woodend in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges, Domaine Epis is a small, boutique winery owned and operated by Alec Epis. The estate focuses on low-yield, cool-climate wines from its high-elevation vineyard, which sits around 620 metres above sea level and is planted primarily to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Epis developed his winemaking skills under the mentorship of respected Australian winemaker Stuart Anderson of Balgownie, continuing the traditional techniques and standards established during that partnership. With meticulous vineyard management and very limited production, Domaine Epis has earned recognition for its refined, expressive wines that highlight the purity and elegance of the Macedon Ranges.
