Sparkling wine is (arguably) the most technical wine in the world. What makes the stuff so technical is that it undergoes not just one fermentation (to make the alcohol) but a second fermentation to make bubbles! White sparkling wines are most common, sparkling rosé and, to a lesser extent, sparkling red wines are also produced. Sparkling wines range from dry to sweet and express a spectrum of flavours that depend on the grape(s) used, the climate they were grown in, and the winemaking method used.
I have visited Parnell in SA so I knew the wines. It was fantastic to go through all the different choices. You taste it if you like it buy a couple of bottles. Easy thank you
I’ve purchased different wines from Sedimentary a couple of times. They’ve got a great selection and really knowledgeable. I’m currently working my way through the SC Pannell wines that I bought which I’ve not had in years and really enjoying. Looking forward to my next visit.
