These 2025 Felton Road releases have a succulence and detail that you'll really love. This wine, from the renowned Block 3 in the heart of The Elms vineyard, shows pure dark and red cherry raspberry coulis, dark plum and a flash of cranberry over hints of Medina spice, pressed flowers, earth, rose petal, cinnamon, cured meats, dried citrus rind, amaro, wild thyme and ground stone. There's a wonderful stony composure and clarity to this year's release, a sense of grace and savoury intent. All the flavours mesh seamlessly with its fine, silty tannins and vivid mineral line. Felton Road

Felton Road wines is located in Bannockburn, Central Otago in New Zealand, the most southerly wine growing region in the World. Here, vineyards are nestled into small macroclimates totally surrounded by high mountains, many of which are snowcapped all year round. Though the location is on the edge of sustainable viticulture these macroclimates consistently combine hot days, cool nights and long dry autumns. The latitude of 45 degrees south is similar to the Willamette Valley in Oregon and some of the finest wine regions of France. I was tracking down a couple of vintage bottles of Amon Ra and stumbled across Sedimentary Wines in Brisbane, excellent selection of premium wines with a range of vintages. Amazing climate-controlled storage facility, to which you can even store you own wine! I meet the own and even got a tour of the facility, highly recommend for purchasing fine wines and storage if you so need.
