Blain Soeur & Frere Cote de Brouilly Pierre Bleue Beaujolais 2020

The grapes for this wine come from a small plot with a terroir that contains blue granite, hence the name Pierre Bleue. The plot is located on an east-facing slope on the Brouilly hill Mont de Brouilly, which is an old volcano. This is a powerful Cote de Brouilly with juice and power with a dark red colour, complexity and a long, mineral taste. You can clearly feel that there is a lot of depth and character in the wine, from the old vines and the unique terroir or a fleshy and dark Beaujolais that gains tremendously after a few years in the cellar.
