A poor vintage in 2012 meant that Coleraine didn’t make the cut for the first time in 20 years. This vintage more than makes up for its absence. An intense, powerful wine with obvious cellaring potential. Initially the wine is hard to read but layers of dark berry, cedar, spice and savoury characters are displayed on its considerably lengthy finish. I’ve purchased different wines from Sedimentary a couple of times. They’ve got a great selection and really knowledgeable. I’m currently working my way through the SC Pannell wines that I bought which I’ve not had in years and really enjoying. Looking forward to my next visit.
