Generous and fragrant aromas of raspberry and pomegranate, plenty of brown spice, mint, tobacco and sundry herbs in tow. It's pleasantly pulpy in the mouth, hints of chocolate and spice with the berry fruit, rounded and expansive, lavish tannins that are quite sleek, blood orange and spice colouring the finish that is of admirable length. There is lovely balance of the plush fruit with the classic Barolo structure.
