The mouthfeel of the larger-bodied flavors is at once quite rich and energetic with an abundance of sappy dry extract that coats the palate and buffers the firm tannic spine shaping the powerful, serious and balanced finale. I would add that in the context of what is typical for the wines from Les Epenots, this is nicely refined.
